The practice is based on the cooperation between the JINR University Centre and Czech Technical University in Prague, Technical University of Bratislava, Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznan, Poland), Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and Moscow Engineering Physics Institute.

A summer practice at JINR, Dubna, is organized for graduate and PhD students. The programme will allow them to learn about research carried out at JINR in cooperation between its Member States and actively participate in it.

• In 2004, the main topics of the lectures will be connected with the physics of low and intermediate energies. Besides, reviewed will be the future experiments at LHC and the GRID system.

• The practice will include a ten-day school on theoretical nuclear physics of low and intermediate energies. The students will be able to work with research teams of the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems, Laboratory of Neutron Physics, and Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions.
