On December 2, 2016 a group of school children from Dubna Lyceum No.6 visited the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions. During the visit, Dr. Andrey Denikin, Head of the Group of Theoretical and Computational Physics of FLNR
and Vice-rector of Dubna University, gave an introductory lecture on JINR, on FLNR and its founder G.N. Flerov.
A. Voinov, one of the leading specialists of FLNR, told the visitors about the applied research conducted at the Laboratory and introduced the school children to the operation principles of the IC-100 accelerator. О. Orelovich gave the guests a tour of the Nanolab and demonstrated the electron microscope in action.
