On December 7, 2016 a group of school students from Moscow Lyceum No. 1524 arrived at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, where they visited the JINR Museum, FLNR, and VBLHEP.
Museum staff members A.Zlotnikova and K.Kozubsky showed the students the museum halls, presented the video dedicated to the 60th anniversary of JINR, delivered an introductory lecture on the JINR history and main fields of research, and on the latest discoveries by Dubna scientists.
FLNR senior researcher A. Artyukh showed the IC-100 and U-400M accelerators to the students.
A.Galimov, specialist of the Research and Experimental Department of Superconducting Magnets and Technologies told the visit participants about the Mega-science project NICA and also introduced the guests to the principles of superconducting magnets assembly for the future collider.
