On 12 March, 2018, a group of pupils from Moscow School № 1517 arrived at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, where they visited the JINR Museum, and the Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions.
Museum staff members A.Zlotnikova and K.Kozubsky showed the guests the museum halls, presented the video about JINR, delivered a short lecture on the JINR history, the key fields of research, and the latest discoveries by Dubna scientists.
At the Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions, the pupils listened to an introductory lecture on the main achievements of FLNR, which was delivered by the laboratory specialist A. Voinov. Further on, the guests visited the IC-100 and U-400M accelerators and the NanoLab of FLNR, where O. Orelovich introduced them to the operation principles of the electron microscope.
