On 25 April, within the frames of the project “Friendship Bridges” which unites students from the twin-cities, high-school students from Nova Gorica (Slovenia) visited JINR.
This was the 6th visit to JINR for the Gymnasium students.
The Students were greeted in the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions where a junior researcher R.Rymzhanov gave a talk on the History of the Laboratory, the contribution the scientists from Dubna made to complete the Periodic table of Mendeleev with new superheavy elements, applied research carried out in the Laboratory and showed the IC-100 Accelerator to the students.
