On 22 September 2018, in Dubna School No. 9 the mentors of the Physics and Mathematics Open Classroom of the JINR University Centre ran the jubilee XXV Open Physics and Mathematics Olympiad for Dubna school students of 6-8 grades.
The anniversary of the event attended by 90 school students coincided with the milestone birthday of the Physics and Mathematics Open Classroom itself – it was established 15 years ago. Hundreds of students of Dubna schools, who had already graduated from universities and found their purpose in life, attended its classes and olympiads.
The participants were offered two variants of tasks: a variant for students of 6-7 grades and a variant for students of 8 grade. The variants included tasks both in Physics and Mathematics. Successful participants were those who managed to complete the tasks in both disciplines. The time allotted was 1.5 hours.
