On 1 April 2022, the JINR University Center specialists organised an online tour for school students of 8-10 grades of the Dubna Lyceum No. 6 n.a. Academician G.N. Flerov. Yuri Severyukhin, a researcher of the Laboratory of Radiation Biology, hosted the event and introduced the children to the work of the Radiation Physiology Sector.
To start with, Yuri spoke about the history of the LRB and the research that began in 1959. Further, the schoolchildren were given a virtual tour around the Radiation Physiology Sector, where they got acquainted with the main stages of working with laboratory animals and saw equipment for assessment of the cognitive functions and behavioral reactions of rodents.
