On 8 April 2022, students of the children's technopark "Kvantorium" from Balashikha visited the Laboratory of Information Technologies n.a. M.G. Meshcheryakov. LIT researcher Igor Pelevanyuk introduced the children to the directions of the Laboratory's activities.
Igor guided the schoolchildren to the machine hall, where they learned about the methods of processing and storage of large data volumes, saw the supercomputer n.a. N.N. Govorun as well as Tier-1 and Tier-2 level centres involved in experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, at the NICA accelerator complex and other experiments.
