On 24 April, 2022, the Moscow Regional Physics and Mathematics Lyceum named after Academician V.G. Kadyshevsky became the venue for the final round of the V Technical Hackathon "Dubna-2022" for secondary school students. It was attended by 6 best teams from Kimry, Taldom, and Dubna selected on the basis of a preliminary round.
After a short master class, where the participants supervised by young JINR researchers Vladislav Kuzmin and Yuri Zelenkov got acquainted with new devices, the teams were offered a choice of 9 tasks of various levels. The competitors were supposed to choose a task to their preference, design and assemble an independent device with preset functions, and present the results to the members of the Board. The criteria evaluated by the Board included completeness of the task, configuration and overall impression of the device.
The team "PozitiV" from Gymnasium "Logos", Kimry, took the 1st prize. The 2nd prize was shared by the teams "KulNur" (Kadyshevsky Lyceum and Lyceum No. 6) and "Rabotniki Piatyorochki" (Kadyshevsky Lyceum), Dubna. The 3rd prize was awarded to the team "Posledovateli PD" (Kadyshevsky Lyceum and Gymnasium No. 8), Dubna.
Nikolai Kutrukhin, the founder of the Hackathon programme in Dubna, Chairman of the Board, told the participants of the Competition about summer technical shifts for school students.
