On 25-29 October, 2022, in Arkhangelsk, at the Northern (Arctic) Federal University, on the basis of which the JINR Information Centre was opened, more than 200 events of the All-Russian NAUKA 0+ Festival took place. JINR employees participated in the Festival.
The programme included lectures on how charged particle accelerators are designed and what they are used for (M. Shandov, VBLHEP), what tasks scientists plan to solve with the help of the NICA collider being currently constructed in Dubna (S. Merts, VBLHEP), how cosmic radiation affects the body and how scientists develop ways to protect cosmonauts from harmful radiation (M. Lalkovicova, LRB).
In the online format, the guests of the Festival got acquainted with the NICA accelerator complex.
