The field educational camp «Summer School» includes many thematic workshops, one of which is the Physics Workshop «Element 105», organised and supported by JINR for many years.
This year, we invite science and engineering students from 18 to 25 years old from all over Russia, to the banks of the Volga to take a unique scientific intensive. Lectures, excursions and nature are the main components of this event.
JINR scientists will give lectures on a wide range of problems in nuclear physics, elementary particle and relativistic heavy ion physics, neutrino physics and cosmology, condensed matter, biophysics and radiobiology. Participants will see the modern scientific facilities and get acquainted with those who make world-class science today.
